Grainne Dooley, VFX on-set supervisor, began her career with a pact that brought her from her Irish homeland to New Zealand to learn the art of filmmaking. Now, 18 years later, she has earned credits on high-profile and indie productions, including “Foundation,” “The Old Guard,” “Penny Dreadful,” “Vikings,” “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe,” and numerous others.
We spoke with Dooley about her use of Setellite and the challenges of collecting and managing onset VFX data in an organized and effective way.

Martin Hall has extensive experience in the visual effects and entertainment production industry. His career began in the mid 90’s, coming from a lighting and shooting background of models and miniatures. Trained in the traditional fine arts, he found visual effects to be the perfect synthesis of art, technology, and business, while being the most collaborative of all creative endeavors. Among his numerous film and television credits include, “Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty,” (HBO), “Perry Mason,” (HBO), “All the Old Knives,” (Amazon), “Encounter,” (Amazon), and numerous others.

Kasper Oerlemans, is a veteran VFX professional who graduated from the NFA in 2007. Oerlemans’ professional experience includes spending eight years at the award-winning Dutch post-production company, Filmmore as a VFX artist and supervisor. In 2015, together with other VFX supervisors (including Dennis Kleyn, CEO Planet X Studios), he started the NVX, the Dutch VFX Society, and in the same year, began working at the NFA as a VFX coach. Oerlemans became full-time head of the Visual Effects and Immersive Media Department a year later.
